The interdisciplinary Uppsala Centre for Sustainable Development consists of the units The Baltic University Programme (BUP), Centre for Environment and Development Studies (CEMUS), Hållbarhetslänken (HL) and The Collegium for Development Studies (Collegium), and Uppsala Water Centre (UVC). It is organised under the Faculty of Science and Technology at Uppsala University as a joint centre for Uppsala University and SLU, Uppsala.

You are invited to attend a two-day conference at Uppsala University, Sweden, on possible links between the HIV/AIDS epidemic and democratization through increased political mobilization. The conference is jointly organized by Forum Syd, the Development Research Network (DevNet) at Uppsala Centre for Sustainable Development, Uppsala University, and Sida Civil Society Centre.
